Virginie Timmerman

Graduated from the Institute of Political Sciences in Grenoble and the University of Kent in Canterbury, she is a specialist of European governance and has an extensive knowledge of European funds and programmes, mainly Erasmus+, Europe for citizens and European Social Fund. She worked within the Jacques Delors institute, an independent think tank which produces analyses and proposals targeting European decision-makers and European citizens. currently works as an Erasmus+ programme coordinator within the CIEP, The Centre international d'Etudes pédagogiques, a public institution in charge of educational cooperation for the French Ministry of National Education.

Lindsay Marshall

Lindsay Marshall is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Computing at Newcastle University, UK with degrees in Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh and Newcastle University. Over the years he has worked in a wide variety of areas in computing: CAD, highly reliable systems, distributed systems and web development. More recently he has been involved in pedagogic research looking at Virtual Learning Environments, Active Learning in Computing, and, currently, support for transition into Higher Education. In 2017 he became a UK National Teaching Fellow.

João Costa

É Professor Doutor em Linguística, pela Universidade de Leiden, Holanda, é Professor Catedrático de Linguística na Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Licenciou-se em Linguística, pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. Foi diretor da Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas e presidente do Conselho Científico das Ciências Sociais e Humanidades da Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia e membro do Conselho Científico do Plano Nacional de Leitura, da Comissão Nacional do Instituto Internacional da Língua Portuguesa e do Conselho Consultivo do Instituto Camões. Atualmente exerce o cargo de Secretário de Estado da Educação.

José Augusto Pacheco

PhD on education, specialty of Curriculum Development, is Full Professor in the Department of Curriculum Studies and Educational Technology, Institute of Education, University of Minho (Portugal). His research interests are focused on Curriculum Theory and Teacher Education. He is the President of the Institute of Education.
